Ideal for Hen parties or social get togethers.
What better way for all everyone to get to know each other than with a bit of light crafting? Everyone will get to make a fascinator or hair accessory to wear on a night out together or the wedding. A great way to kill two birds with one stone!
Cost includes materials, tea, coffee and biscuits. Feel free to bring your own cakes and wine.
Materials are included ranging from feathers, ribbons, silks, buttons, beads, netting and trimmings. If you have a very specific shade you want to match with your outfit we recommend you bring a 25cm piece of fabric. It is also a great opportunity to use any broken bits of jewelry and incorporate them into the focus point of your creation.
There are two workshop options:
Option 1: Participants will be able to make their head piece totally from scratch, creating the design of the base as well as all the trimmings. This will give each person complete creative freedom and everyone will finish with a wonderful unique creation to take away with them. Cost is £42 per person for 4 hours tuition.
Option 2: Everyone will start off with a ready made circular base chosen from a range of colours. Participants will be shown how to trim and decorate their base. The workshop is the same as option one but it is shorter and is ideal for sewing novices. Cost is £35 per person for 2 1/2 hours tuition.
Classes can be taken on an evening or at the weekend and are taught by Holly or one of her highly skilled team members. The workshops are held at The Old Bakery Studios in Truro, TR1 1QH. For parties a 50% deposit is required to confirm the booking and the remaining 50% on the day of Party. If you need to add a couple of extra people nearer the time that is no problem, providing you give a few days notice.
